The short, honest version.
What we collect
- Your name (as you'd like it displayed)
- Your email address (to send your entry links and to reach you if you win)
- Your prediction (date, time, weight, height)
- Your Rubber Duck purchase: the amount, when it was paid, and the reference numbers Stripe gives us
- If you choose to contribute: your name, email, and the amount
That's it — nothing else, and nothing is shared or sold.
What stays private
Your email address is never shown publicly. Public pages only ever display your name.
While predictions are open, your exact predicted time, weight, and height are kept hidden so no one can copy your guess.
Payments
Rubber Duck purchases and optional contributions are both processed on Stripe's own hosted checkout page. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by this site.
We keep only what Stripe hands back: the amount, the payment status, and Stripe's reference numbers, which let the organizer look a payment up if something needs fixing. Payment records are never shown on any public page.
